GAME DESIGN

MONDAY 16TH JANUARY – 10am to 3pm. Ages 8-12. Max 6 places. $90.

Why just play games when you can learn how to make them. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make 3 different types of games, using Gamemaker software, then get to play each others games. Super fun day for gamers!

SCREEN ACTING (8-12yrs)

TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY – 10am to 3pm. Ages 8-12. Max 10 places. $80.

Learn the difference between stage and screen acting, as well as the fundamentals of what it’s like acting to camera.

A fun introduction to the craft of screen acting.

GREEN SCREEN CLASS

THURSDAY 19TH JANUARY – 10am to 3pm. Ages 11-14 yrs. Max 8 places. $105.

Learn the power of green screen in this focused course covering how to green screen in the free editing software Davinci Resolve. With special effects, the only limit is your imagination!

2-D ANIMATION

FRIDAY 20TH JANUARY – 10am to 3pm. Ages 8-12yrs. Max 8 places. $90.

Learn the interface and navigation for Tahoma, a free software you can learn to use to create super fun animations. This is an exceptional skill to learn if you ever wish to work in the growing entertainment, content creation and resources industries.

SFX MAKE-UP

FRIDAY 20TH JANUARY – 10am to 12pm. Ages 9-14yrs. Max 12 places. $45.

A fun and fascinating fusion of art, science and story.

Learn from a professional Makeup SFX artist in our Burns & Bruises workshop. Get your hands dirty with fake blood, latex and paper mache organs this school holidays!

Perth’s North Metro PEAC Greenscreen Workshop

In the PEAC / Filmbites’ Green Screen VFX course, students devised their own TV news items. They learnt how to light and shoot scenes in Filmbites’ green screen studio. This video is the final production of the PEAC group’s amazing TV broadcast.
