Use the massive green screen in our Malaga studio to transport you to other worlds. Add action with explosions and fire. Do the impossible, like fly and teleport.

All in Davinci Resolve – software used in the industry that you can download for free at home.

You’ll begin in the computer lab, to learn the basics of Davinci Resolve’s editing and visual effects tools.

Then, you’ll use this knowledge to develop, shoot, and edit short skits of your very own!

Bring a USB to take the scenes home with you, and show them off to your friends and family.

About Your Instructor

Tim Green has been making movies for longer than he could remember. He got his first video camera at eight and never really stopped. He started training at Filmbites in 2008, graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Media in Screen Production in 2015, and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Media Production in 2016.

He has directed numerous short films that have been screened at festivals around the world, and regularly works on local and international feature films and drama series.

He has taught filmmaking and visual effects at Filmbites since 2016.
